The Tzolkin is The ORDER of Creation.
It is inclusive of ALL Creation, including mathematics.
Mathematics is involved in some of the following illustration ….
Although it is not based on mathematics, it is based on ORDER.
Number as Order.
While the difference may seem inconsequential or maybe even confusing, it is significant & simple.
The order is 1 to 260 and it repeats…..1 to 260 …..1 to 260…..
Any number greater than 260 is reduced by 260 to arrive at a number between 1 & 260.
This Order of 260 is constant.
It is an incremental ‘movement’ 1 by 1……to 260, when it begins at 1.
The numbers move by the power of 1.
Mathematics is calculation, adding to, subtracting from, dividing and multiplying….etc.
Maths has an answer, an end point, a goal, whereas Order IS Order
and the Order of 260, the 13:20 Order of Creation is infinite.
There is no end goal,
Order is ‘The Way’. …
No two people will ever perceive it exactly as the other.
The observations I share are simply some of the perceptions that have emerged from my participatory presence, with the Order over the past 15 years . They are not THE truth, they are my truth, my-story…..you will have your own way. There are as many ways to follow The Way as there is life. We are all individual and unique expressions of IT and we will each have our own unique and individual way of following IT, experiencing IT & being IT....and it constantly changes!

The ways in which IT can be followed, perceived, or applied……are infinite.
A way to perceive the numbers - as degrees of difference.
What is a degree of difference?
The numbers of the Tzolkin are the order of an unseen, non quantifiable catalytic energy.
Its’ function is CHANGE.
IT ‘moves’, IT creates, IT sustains life.
IT is everywhere although we ‘do not always have eyes’ to see IT.
Kin numbers are the ‘measure of this degree of difference’.
A degree of change relative to 2 numbers of the Order.
When I write degree, while it is possibly perceived as a numeric quantity of “something’ eg; light or energy for example, it is a qualitative degree and it is relative to the other 259 numbers of the 260 Order.
Note - while we are accustomed to perceive number as quantitative,
the numbers of the Tzolkin are qualitative.
Each number has 3 aspects - a ‘trifold nature’… the Trinity…

colour - quadrant
A concept perhaps that is familiar, although not the same, is electricity.
You cannot have a container of electricity.
When you receive an electrical bill you are charged for an amount
that is the difference between what was measured at the start and at the end of a billing period.
You are not given an amount of electricity, ‘to have & to hold’,
you are provided with a supply, an abundant supply, so that when you flick the switch, it ‘turns’ on,
making your electrical appliances work.
Although you cannot see it, you observe its presence as it activates,
gives life to and facilities the operation of something.
And although you cannot isolate and measure it,
you are charged for the supply relative to a measurement of difference.
So this ‘thing’ that cannot be isolated is both observed and measured relativistically.
It is the same with the numbers on the Tzolkin, as degrees of difference.
All measurement, all meaning, all observation is relativistic.
note … if you touch a electrical current through which electricity moves…. you certainly feel it and could never doubt its presence…..the same for the practise of S5….there can be no doubt.

While this may appear a very simplistic observation, it is for me one of the clearest and most elegant illustrations of the significance and the relevance of the Tzolkin regardless of individual expression.
Perhaps a more direct way of expressing that is to say, IT, the Order of the Tzolkin is relevant to everyone and everything, irrespective of the ‘divisions’ we (humans) have created and subsequently fight for, argue over…. .and at times have even killed for in the name of God…..
Globally ancient cultures have, and current religions too, all honour a supreme creative force from which life emerges and to where it returns - the One True God, an omnipresent presence that permeates through all life.
I am neither seeking to prove anything nor challenge your beliefs, so perhaps I will simply pose a question for consideration.
If the order of the Tzolkin is The Order of Creation, could this One God, that we argue over, simply be the ‘1’?
The similarities of myth, artwork / architecture, scripture and verse are evident enough. Each expression relative to the society that ‘followed’ IT.

One moves the order…. One furthers the order,
Creation evolves by the power of One
One is all and one is within all
Regardless of form, meaning assigned to, or practice aligned with, the Order exists. The Order IS.

To draw the spiral in a way that the numbers can be deciphered, the dimensions relative to ’legibility’… would be more than 27 metres long……which is a perfect illustration of
how amazing the Tzolkin is as a Grid.
Absolutely everything is within its’ 13 columns and 20 rows!
For me the grid Tzolkin is like a flower bud,
and to see the order as a Spiral is to see the bud open and bloom. ….
S5 is to experience the fragrance.:)
Some observations
The functions of the degrees of difference are all red or blue
There are 2 kin only which have a degree of difference of 1º
Kin 127 is the only kin to have itself (127) as its’ degree of difference
Each of the 20 rows equates to a Cosmic Kin number and each dual function pair equates to 260

Exploration relative to Earth families
19 is the only function that has its’ total degree of difference function as its’ own function.
7 is the only function that has its individual degree of difference function as its’ own function.
18, 13, 8 & 3 ( Signal Earth Family Kin) have the same Earth family individual &
total degree of difference function.
All Polar, either 5 or 15.
The Blue / Black / 3rd quadrant function of each of the 5 Earth Families retains its blue / black / 3rd quadrant function.
Ie; column 1 indicates this observation
Each of the earth family blue functions also has an individual and total blue function degree of difference.
Simply the row is all blue. (Indicated in column 1)
There is so much within these three tables ….. it truely is amazing.
While we are accustomed to accumulating knowledge & wanting to know…
the WHAT & the WHY, for me are not important, my only question ever is HOW?
How can I develop my relationship with this order?
How can my practice translate into an experience that is tangible
and has meaning relative to where I am, physically & metaphorically……
For the perfection of the patterns and alignments to emerge from these 4 numbers per kin
is beyond the intelligence of a any human being.
While the Order is within all of us, we are not the order, we are individual expressions of It.
Nor are we a particular Kin number,
we come from the Absolute, born on a number within the Order
relative to the group who follows It. ( see individual orders)
Each of us was born on a particular day.
If you follow the Order as per the Dreamspell you will have a Kin number relative to that way of following.
You would also have an individual Kin number relative to that way of following.
For example if The Dreamspell count on the day you were born is Kin 219,
relative to The Dreamspell, your Kin is 219.
You could also consider the day you were born as Kin 1, as that is the first step / day of your life on earth.

The same could apply if you were to follow the Long Count,
your Kin number would be different as it would be relative to that way of following Order.
In addition, the sun rose at a particular degree on the day you were born,
so that astrological degree has an equivalent Kin number and you could also consider that your kin.
(note I follow the astrological degrees from sunrise to sunrise. This does not always correspond to our concept of a 24 hr period beginning at midnight...although it is not 'a place' in time that counts, it is order and many cultures followed order relative to sunset, twilight, midday even.....again - all is Order.
the emphasis here is to follow IT in a way that is familiar or relative to you and 'where you are'.
It totally amazes me day after day, regardless of how you twist, fold, arrange, pull inside out, turn upside down or ….
there is a magic so complete and whole that the concept of knowing why, what, when,
completely dissolves and there can be no doubt, no question
that Its’ Way is Absolute.
Inclusive of all, within all, and unifying all. ….
The knowing comes from within, there is no ‘additional’ intelligence outside of or external to you
eg, an alien source, a ‘download’ or an ‘awakening’……
this Order is within each and every human, we are literally made in Its’ order…..
so that when we attune to IT, It guides….we follow….
We ‘stand under’ IT. ( to understand)…..
‘as above, so below’.
I often use the word attunement in relation to S5.
Another way to consider the practise is that S5 is a physical embodiment of the Order,
in-forming cellular memory, cycle after cycle, awareness expands as a spiral……
.which informs perception…..
which informs experience.
I'd like to pause here and attempt to rephrase what I just wrote…as simply and as directly as I am able to express….
I DID NOT make up these numbers.
THEY ARE
and I am simply sharing an awareness of them.
For the multiple ways in which these 4 numbers can be perceived……
and for them to align in such Absolute perfection , each and every way……is beyond imaginable …..
This is not quantifiable number, IT is qualitative,
I sometimes refer to it relative to a proportion, a degree….
And this is ORDER..and not just any order,
it is simply Order
IT IS ABSOLUTE.
The Tzolkin symbolises IT, as NUMBER
The 4 numbers per Kin are ABSOLUTE.
IT doesn’t come from me.
It is within everybody
I am merely sharing an awareness and a practise
to attune to IT
